Since 2018, BEFORE EIGHT has worked with multiple clients to help them grow their success in the online music world. Their digital-first approach to music promotion has been a trailblazer in the industry. Due to their modern set-up, they have worked with several artists who released on major labels like Warner and Sony Music. In addition, they have amassed millions of streams, working with niche as well as pop artists to grow their fanbase nationally and internationally.

History

The young company BEFORE EIGHT was founded in 2018 by Daniel Lohmann and Christian Ort during their studies at the Popakademie Baden-Württemberg. Even before and during their studies, the young entrepreneurs dealt extensively with both musical content and business contexts, so that an initial business idea turned into a rapidly growing start-up overnight. Lohmann and Ort recognized the potential of the digital music industry early on and therefore concentrated on digital platforms such as Spotify, Deezer and TikTok, creating a broad catalogue of offers for digital appearances in terms of music marketing. Today, they cooperate with established stars of the music industry as well as up-and-coming talents.

Our Philosophy

The digitalization enables Lohmann und Ort to work dynamically and efficiently, growing their business under the guiding principles of transparency and organic growth, with the emphasis on fair participation for the artist and with a contemporary as well as modern approach, for example in terms of billing systems.
